About Cat Halsan

(she/her)

Hi! I’m Cat, a thirty-something Queer Celebrant and Event Planner with roots in Surrey, now dividing my time between London and Birmingham.

I spent the first 15 years of my career working in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and organisational development - collaborating with a mix of grassroots organisations, national charities, global companies and corporate leaders. From community activists to CEOs, I’ve worked with people at every level to build more inclusive cultures, drive meaningful change, and celebrate the richness of diverse identities.

This experience has given me a deep understanding of the beauty and complexity of relationships, family dynamics, and the importance of community - especially when it comes to celebrating and supporting LGBTQ+ love and connection.

It also taught me how to captivate an audience, take people on a meaningful journey, inspire them to connect deeply, and, of course, how to throw one hell of a party!

I pour this passion and insight into every ceremony, event, and project I take on. My aim is to celebrate and uplift all the wonderful aspects of life and love, using my skills to create something truly special for you.

I’ve had the joy of planning and hosting many events, and now I’d love to plan yours. If you’re looking for someone to make your occasion memorable and full of absolute joy, let’s work together to bring your vision to life—you won’t be disappointed!

let’s talk about your special day
